From November 17–22, the halls, gymnasium, and streets surrounding Drexel Prep burst with energy, camaraderie, and good old Prep pride, as students, alumni, and families came together for a weeklong celebration filled with fun, fellowship, and tradition.
A Lineup of Events That Brought the Community Together
Serving as a fun precursor to Spirit Week, Spirit Night at Monday’s Restaurant brought together alumni, staff, students, families, and friends in a great evening of fellowship and Hive pride.
Spirit Week kicked off with a lively lunchtime kickball game on Monday, setting the tone for a week steeped in unity and nostalgia.
On Tuesday, students had the chance to explore their futures and aspirations at the on-campus College Fair, where recruiters and resources met eager minds.
By midweek, the vibe shifted as alumni returned, first at the “Breakfast with the Bees,” an early-morning gathering where former Preppers reconnected over stories and breakfast, later at the gym for the spirited Students vs. Staff and Alumni VolleyballGame. That matchup brought competition, laughs, and a sense of legacy.
The crescendo came on Friday morning, when the much-anticipated Spirit Court Parade rolled down Magazine Street — a vibrant display of school spirit, lively cheers, and community pride.
Spirit Week wrapped up with a festive dance on Saturday night — the perfect celebration to close out a week full of joy and tradition.
