Jasmine (Love) Cockfield is a native of New Orleans, LA. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Jackson State University in 2011 and her master’s degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University in 2014.
Jasmine has over ten years of global Corporate Social Responsibility experience. In her current role at Honda, she serves as Project Leader, Corporate Social Responsibility. Within her role, she leads the Honda Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU) branded events including the Honda Battle of the Bands (HBOB) founded in 2003 and the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) founded in 1989. Under her leadership, the battle of the bands made its West Coast debut in 2025 at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
Jasmine is a Board Member of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta, a network of Corporate Philanthropy professionals dedicated to empowering local communities in Metro Atlanta. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and a current graduate chapter member of the Sigma Omega Omega Chapter in Douglasville, GA.
Jasmine credits Prep as the place that gave her some of her greatest friends and most fondest memories. She believes — like many of us — that Prep is “the sorority before the sorority.” Her love for 5116 Magazine runs deep.
