Each year in the United States, 1 in 10 babies are born preterm, beginning their lives with an extra measure of strength, hope, and resilience. These tiny fighters remind us daily of the power of love and the miracle of life.
This November, The MAX — St. Mary’s Academy, St. Augustine High School, and St. Katharine Drexel Prep, formerly Xavier Preparatory High School, is joining hands with Saul's Light to honor these courageous babies and the incredible teams who care for them. Together, we’re hosting a Diaper and Toiletry Drive from now through November 30th, to benefit families whose little ones begin their journeys in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).But our mission doesn’t stop there. Students from all three schools will also be writing heartfelt letters of appreciation; messages of warmth and gratitude that will be delivered to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who give so much of themselves to help our smallest miracles thrive. We see these men and women as heroes and “s-heroes,” and this month, we celebrate them with open hearts.
Please consider donating diapers and toiletry items at one of our school drop-off locations:
